Each item is fitted to the wearer from an exclusive ready-to-wear, hand finished range or hand made on a one-off basis, both using traditional French haute couture methods, including special patterns and toile models of the garment. This enables the unusual or fuller figure to be perfectly fitted.

As a professional personal stylist, Romi also offers other excusive services include wardrobe planning, fashion profiling and a unique fashion consultancy.

Anamcha is the name of the fashion brand and the exclusive retail shop owned by Romi Loch-Davis at Number 11 rue du Pres au Clercs, off Boulevard St. Germain, in the exclusive 7th arrondissement of Paris, France.

Romi, a South African by birth, university educated in Cape Town, France and Italy (Venice), has established in Paris a unique fashion concept derived from blending the enduring art of the past with her own aesthetics. Romi lives nearby her shop in a Left Bank environment which reflects her personality and artistic flair.

Anamcha products are fashioned from rich and beautiful brocades, velvets and other fabrics chosen by Romi from the best manufacturers, primarily private factories in Italy and France, renowned for their quality and style.

Romi designs the one-off garments with imaginative use of the lovely fabrics for seasonal and all-year-round wear, from simple skirts to glamorous coats, all of them eye-stopping. Her products have a baroque quality fully integrated with the practical demands of modem living, entertaining and special occasions.

Romi drew her inspiration from her life in Africa and Venice which blended in her a strong sense of colour and texture with the jewel like reflections of byzantine opulence. Her clothes distil the essence of her studies in the creative arts and her passion for the enduring best drawn from past epochs.

Romi is fluent in English, French and Italian and has held showings in Chicago and New York to invited guests. She will provide personal service on an international basis in advising on your choice from a single garment to an entire wardrobe and also advice on accessories.Romi has access to co-ordinated or matching custom made lingerie which will satisfy the most refined taste.
